New Solutions In Import Substitution From JSC "Soligorsk Institute Of Resource Saving Problems With Pilot Production"
At the MiningWorld Russia 2025 exhibition, a participant from Belarus will present import-substituting equipment for the mining industry.
The import substitution process has become, for the most part, a forced measure caused by sanctions. The period of strict restrictive measures has become a period for reassessing priorities, a window of opportunity and an impetus to open new horizons for most enterprises in the country. Including in the mining industry, which occupies an important place in the structure of the Belarusian economy.
JSC "Soligorsk Institute of Resource Saving Problems with Experimental Production" made every effort to find new suppliers of components and units, both among domestic manufacturers and among representatives of friendly countries. The result of the activities of the Soligorsk Institute was the production of skip mine machines, scraper cranes, heading and cleaning combines and technological equipment without the use of European parts and units.
