Exhibition exposition
Many Russian and foreign manufacturers demonstrated new machines and equipment at their stands in 2024.
"We are all equally focused on finding new technologies and solutions that can provide sustainability to the Russian mining industry and allow companies to develop and grow. The exchange of experience and developments within the framework of such events as MiningWorld Russia contributes to the replication of successful practices and the increase of the adaptive resources of the industry" - Vladimir Nagorny , Commercial Director of Reman-Service.
At the stand of the company "Reman-Service" it was possible to get acquainted with the capabilities of robotic complexes. The main formats of application of the complexes were presented here: laser cladding - that is, restoration of worn parts, welding of cracks, giving the surfaces of parts additional strength, anti-corrosion protection and much more.
Last year, Mining Element launched a line that includes spare parts for underground self-propelled equipment. And already this year, at MiningWorld Russia 2024, the company brought spare parts that are in high demand - products for the EPIROC, Normet, Sandvik brands: filters, hydraulic pumps and hydraulic drills. In addition, Mining Element brought one of the experimental samples of a hydraulic drill to the exhibition: RDE-18. The first is already being tested at one of the enterprises in Russia. This drill is suitable for work on the most popular drilling rigs of the Boomer and Simba families.
The RIVS company designed its stand in the form of a large-volume 200-cubic-meter flotation machine at a scale of 1:1 and presented its own solutions for automating enrichment processes at factories. Part of the company's stand was also designed as a control room for the mining and processing plant: several screens demonstrated the processing areas of the enrichment plant, with a virtual controller simulating the operating modes of the equipment and the indicators of the enrichment process. All visitors were able to try on the role of a dispatcher and control the flotation process, as well as walk around the digital twin of the enrichment plant, putting on VR glasses.
Nevyansk Mining Machinery Plant presented an import-substituting, high-performance, low-noise fan developed by its own design department — the VShO-12.5 mine local ventilation fan. The equipment is currently undergoing all necessary tests, and in September it will be sent for operation to enterprises in Russia and friendly countries. The fan is made according to an axial scheme with an electric motor, it is single-stage, explosion-proof. Based on the VShO-12.5 model, it is planned to establish the production of fans with diameters of 1200, 1400, 1600, 1800 mm.
ERGA LLC presented several innovative developments at once: the ERGA LuxSortika optical separator, operating in the visible (VIS) and near infrared (SWIR) ranges, and the ERGA BSM magnetic drum separator with adjustable magnetic induction, which can be adjusted to the composition of the ore.
The Elektrogorsk Metal Plant (ELEMET) presented a new product to visitors - a sedimentation and filtering centrifuge, which is already being successfully used for dewatering gold-bearing ores at the Olimpiada Mining and Processing Plant (Polus).
Representatives of TEM Partner brought to the exhibition an aeration unit for a large-volume flotation machine with a capacity of 630 m³ - this is an element of a real machine that the company will install at one of the mining and processing plants under construction in Russia. It is important to emphasize that equipment of this class has not been produced in Russia before; it was supplied only by foreign companies.
The Tsifra Group presented several of its own solutions at once in the form of a workplace for a quarry dump truck driver equipped with the Quarry GTC automated control system, a digital advisor and new developments - 360 Review and the Antison driver fatigue monitoring system. The company also presented the VIST CV software package, which, using machine vision and artificial intelligence, allows monitoring the wear level of excavator bucket teeth and determining the granulometric composition.
Special exhibition "Territory of heavy equipment"
The point of attraction for visitors to the MiningWorld Russia exhibition has traditionally been the special exposition “Territory of Heavy Equipment”, where leading domestic and international brands presented large-sized equipment.
For example, KAMAZ held the world premiere of the new Atlant 50 quarry dump truck (KAMAZ-4555-0000030-VS) - a three-axle truck with increased cross-country ability. The machine with a 6x4 wheel arrangement is designed for use at ambient temperatures from minus 40 to plus 40 °C. That is, this dump truck is equally suitable for both Siberia and Africa. Along with the Atlant 50, KAMAZ presented the Atlant 49 8x4 quarry dump truck (KAMAZ-4554).
M4E demonstrated a diesel generator set of the Chinese brand Weichai WPG440L8 and a drilling rig at the exhibition .
