Lean technologies for the mining sector were presented at miningWorld Russia 2024

At the 28th International Exhibition MiningWorld Russia 2024, Reman-Service presented the capabilities of robotic complexes.

According to Vladimir Nagorny, one of the strategic tasks of the industry is to optimize equipment maintenance processes. In Russian companies operating in the oil production and mining sectors, the fleet of industrial machinery consists mainly of European-made units. At the same time, enterprises can no longer involve official service centers in scheduled and situational repairs, there are also difficulties with the supply of original parts - in addition, their cost has increased significantly. Only large players with established logistics connections provide stable supplies of spare parts in the current conditions.

"At the same time, we understand that the market needs an alternative that will allow it to not depend on the supply of original parts and the foreign economic situation ," says Vladimir Nagorny. " Laser restoration and strengthening of industrial equipment parts, which is carried out using modern robotic complexes, is already becoming such an alternative . "

At the Reman-Service stand , it was possible to get acquainted with the capabilities of robotic complexes. The main formats for using the complexes were presented here: laser cladding - that is, restoring worn parts, welding cracks, giving the surfaces of parts additional strength, anti-corrosion protection, etc. According to Vladimir Nagorny, depending on the scale of the company and its fleet of industrial equipment, it is possible to use the services for restoring parts using robotic complexes, or install such a complex in your own maintenance department and use it during scheduled, preventive maintenance work.
