Crumin Trunnionless Mill: Innovative Upgrade For Increased Productivity

At the Yubileinaya Mill (Khabarovsk Krai), specialists from SGI LLC have modernized a traditional (trunnion) ball mill into a Crumin trunnionless mill.

The modernized Crumin mill МШР2100х3000, instead of covers with journals, is equipped with loading and unloading columns with bandages, which rest on segment bearings.

The removed single-liner bearings and foundation plates were replaced with new foundation plates with segment bearings. The original foundation bolt pattern was retained and the bolts themselves were shortened.

The bearing lubrication system is dual-circuit and provides independent oil supply to each bearing. The segments are equipped with temperature sensors, the readings of which are displayed on the temperature control system display.
