APEKS B4 Compact Drilling Rig With Cabin Will Be Presented At MiningWorld Russia 2025.
The company "APEKS" - a manufacturer and dealer of drilling rigs and equipment, announced the upcoming presentation of its new development of the drilling rig APEKS B4 at the International Exhibition MiningWorld Russia, which will be held in Crocus Expo from April 23 to 25, 2025.
APEKS B4 has a number of features that will increase the value and efficiency of gold mining, quarrying and construction companies in Russia. First of all, this is fuel consumption, which is 40% lower compared to similar products. This is due to automatic engine speed control, which allows optimizing the speed during drilling operations. Compared to existing rigs, replacing drill rods on the APEKS B4 rig is at least 20% faster, which reduces the overall drilling time.
The drilling rig is equipped with a two-stage compressor with a pressure of 18 bar and a durable, economical Yuchai engine with a power of 176 kW. Apex itself drills on rigs of various brands, such as Epiroc and Sandvik. Therefore, the engineering solutions of such popular models as PowerROC D55, DI550 and ROC F6 were taken as a basis for the creation.
All data in the APEKS B4 is displayed to the operator in the cabin on a 6-inch screen. The intuitive display simplifies the operation of the drilling rig and speeds up personnel training. Operators can perform drilling with just a few movements, which reduces the number of lever operations required by the operator by approximately 80% compared to other models. The design of the drilling rig provides direct access to all components of the machine for simplified servicing.
